Cute **Momenta**

My husband's youngest sister just got remarried to in June 2012.  They had a fun idea of a photo booth, where you could dress up, take 4 pictures and you got to keep them!!  My husband and I had just been to another wedding two months earlier and they had the same thing (I guess it is all the rage) so we already had fun pics of us, so I thought my youngest son would have a blast with me.  He picked out the hats and the sock monkey to pose with.  He had so much fun!!

I have seen hexagons in loads of layout recently and I had to try them for myself.  So I loaded up my cricut and cut out tons of hexagons from two different patterned papers from Momenta.  I then used a brown marker to give each hexagon a defined edge to help it pop off the page.  I did the same marker effect but in blue (same blue as the journaling) to give an edge to the raw chipboard.  I used the same Momenta paper (just the backs of each) for the butterflies and the orange mat to the center picture.

Brandon and I playing around in the photo booth!

For some fun elements and texture I used a Momenta stencil and brown paint to crate the swirl effects.  I just used the lip of a cup dipped in red paint for the circles.

Enjoy!!
