Life is good - Gift Bag **Flamingo Scraps**

Every year we have a ton of thank you gifts to give to teachers for all my kids.  I wanted to give a special gift to my sons teacher this year and that included the wrapping just to show her how much she ment to us this year.

I took a regular brown paper gift bag (like a small lunch bag, same ones used for the brown paper bag albums) and used spray mist (Heidi Swapp) to color it to match the Pink Paislee Journal Cards.  I layered 4 different card on top of each other to create a fun layered look.  The I did my faux bling pearls with liquid pearls and placed a flower on top.

The flower is made from Webster's ruffle bloomers and a Gluber (wind the ribbon around the gluber to make it look like a pretty flower) - really easy!!  I took the remaining ruffle ribbon and used it to tie the bag closed (I punched two holes in the top after folding over the top of the bag, the ribbon is holding the bag closed).

There are tons of uses for your paper scraps or for these journal cards - here is just one!!  So head on over to the Flamingo Scraps Store and take a look!!
